In a combined DJing career spanning 60 years, the trio have spun in some of the most notable and iconic clubs in Singapore from dbl O to Zouk and Ministry of Sound to Tanjong Beach Club. Now, they are seemingly at the peak of their trade. Former Zouk resident DJ, Brendon P currently helms Kyō’s Friday nights while the virtuous Kenneth Francis is a mainstay at its predecessor, The Vault and Joshua Pillai heads the residency at Ku De Ta. They were right in the middle of it all when the city’s nocturnal landscape grew from obscurity to its present state of excess. In this exclusive interview, we delve into the definition of house music as it was in its earlier incarnations to its current form.
