To celebrate Jean-Michel Basquiat's contribution to the formative years of hip hop, Get On Down has released its Beat Bop Record Box, featuring officially licensed artwork by the late artist. The box is of ultra-sturdy construction – being crafted with black leatherette on the outside with plastic corner protectors – and holds up to 50 records. Covering its body is artwork that Basquiat created for his label Tartown Records' release of Rammellzee and K-Rob's "Beat Bop" in 1983. His signature crown logo lines the inside of the case. Limited in edition, only 1,000 of these cases have been produced. Madlib suggests you can fit more than LPs in it.
